Volunteers Needed For SWAN Community Program: Speak Your Soul

 

We invite Miami to speak from their soul. Upon arriving to the SWAN Community Program, attendees will be ushered along an artistic, enclosed trail, which will include: 4 interactive art exhibits that are built to challenge our perception of one another and provide Miami’s multicultural and diverse community with a much needed platform to create a dialogue about people’s similarities versus their differences.

This day is about celebrating similarities vs our differences. We want to create a much need healing arts platform for our community. Thank you for being a part of it!

BASIC INFO

Location: Arsht Center for the Performing Arts 1300 Biscayne Blvd. – Ziff Ballet Opera House; Peacock Foundation Studio
Load In: 11am

Event Time: 3pm – 8pm

Strike & Visual Installation Finalized 8pm-10pm

No Pay – All volunteer

Community services hours avail

Ages – 16yrs and up

PRODUCTION CREW

Event greeters, Stage Mangers

Production Assistants

2 Talent Coordinator Assistants

2 Snack coordinators

2 photographers

4 Social Media & Tech Savy Hosts – To main the photo booth

Visual artists to set up, coordinate, run each interactive activity and finalize installation

VENDORS WITH OUTREACH & COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAMMING

Confirmation of participation by March 15

Load in on Friday March 24 begins at 11am.

All vendors must be set and ready for production meeting  by 2:30pm.

Vendors can come set up and leave if needed.

Neither The Arsht Center or SSF will be responsible to set up, strike, manage or represent any vendor or organization.

A 6′ foot table with blk table cloth and 2 chairs will be provided.

A 1 sentence blurb and logo of the organization should be provided to SSF no later than March 15.

Selling of any products is NOT allowed.
